This Elsie & D Pull Up is an ultra trim, sized nappy/diaper. They are designed to fit like underwear, rather than a traditional nappy/diaper.

They are a great option independent toddlers who will not lay down/still for changes, elimination communication families, or for older children who still need a little bit of protection from an accident at night.
If you are after a multi-sized, adjustable nappy/diaper, a pull up that will fit night weight inserts, or your child is a heavier wetter, 'N Pants' may be more suitable. If you are looking for a training pant, check out 'D Pants'.
Due to the super trim nature of this pattern, sizing is very build dependent.

The instructions are written with those fairly new to sewing in mind, and have detailed photographs that take you through each step. The entire pattern can be made with just a sewing machine. An overlocker is advisable for making the inserts, but a sewing machine can be substituted. You will also require a snap press or pliers and snaps (see photos for full materials list).

This pattern has step by step instructions and photos, and is suitable to someone quite new to sewing. You will learn the basics of nappy/diaper making including inserting elastics, sewing curves and working with laminated fabrics.
